Knowing Someone from the Secret Services.

I really wonder though, how would it be like to meet someone from the secret services? Would we know? Would they tell us? Or would they lie to us about their jobs like how we see in the movies and books?  For all you know, your best friend or boyfriend/girlfriend could be secret agents. Freaky huh?
